El Rompido is one of the finest golf resorts in Spain. Situated in the province of Huelva, approximately an hour?s drive from Faro and Seville airports, the resorts lies five minutes from the small coastal village of El Rompido.
The 5 star hotel sits in the heart of the resort surrounded by the two 18 hole golf courses. Its a low rise building (only three floors) and has a modern contemporary design with a slightly oriental theme.
The resort has numerous sporting facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis & paddle tennis courts and a Spa & beauty center that include jacuzzi, solarium, sauna, steam room, massages, personalized beauty treatments, hairdressers, and gym.
Away from the resort, the village of El Rompdio has a small selection of bars and restaurants and it?s here that you can access the beach, via a short boat ride across the inland waterway (normally operates May ? October).
The two El Rompido courses border the Marismas marsh, which leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Both courses have been cleverly designed to bring the mash into play on several holes. Pine trees and orange groves are scattered throughout both courses, and with no housing developments and the backdrop of Atlantic Ocean, these are two very enjoyable courses.
