4-way tie for lead in Madeira Islands Open

PORTO SANTO, Madeira Islands(AP) Portugal's Jose-Felipe Lima, Englishmen Chris Gane and Ben Evans and Scotland's George Murray shot 6-under 66s on Thursday to share the first-round lead in the Madeira Islands Open.

England's James Morrison and Oliver Fisher were a stroke back on the Seve Ballesteros-designed Porto Santo course along with Scotland's Andrew McArthur and Jamie McLeary and France's Julien Quesne.
