Andrew Oldcorn Biography
Andrew Oldcorn was born in Bolton, England on the 31st March 1960. He was raised in Edinburgh After winning the English Amateur in 1982 and playing for Great Britain & Ireland in the 1983 Walker Cup, he turned professional the following year.
Oldcorn fought a two year battle with the energy sapping illness, ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) but returned to win twice in the 1990s. His two European Tour wins were the 1993 Turespana Masters Open de Andalucia and the 1995 DHL Jersey Open, He also won the 1993 Sunderland of Scotland Masters off of the tour.
In 2001 Oldcorn won the Volvo PGA Championship and in 2005 he was joint ninth in The KLM Open, which represented his best return of the 2005 campaign.
