About the Golf Club

Torvean Golf Course is a Parkland course set in mature woodlands with 3 ponds including one of the longest par 5's in the North of Scotland at 565 yards.

With yardage of 5784 and standard scratch of 68 the course consists of a number of fair yet challenging holes providing an interesting test of golf.

The final 3 holes are probably the best 3 hole finish on any course with two long par 4's at 16 and 18 and a par 3 with a tee shot over a natural pond with the green immediately behind it.

Maintained to a very high standard by the greens staff, the parkland style golf course offers a fair test of golf to players of all abilities.

The informal nature of the club appeals not only to the serious golfer but also to those wishing to try golf for the first time.

The Golf Club made us very welcome and told both my partners not to worry in the least about there lack of experience, so long as they kept moving they would be fine. This lead to a very enjoyable day for the two novices and alowed us all to enjoy a great Golf Course.
