About the Golf Club

Welcome to Tenby Golf Club, arguably the oldest course in Wales, and one of the finest links courses in the Principality. Those who find their way to this beautiful corner of Pembrokeshire will be richly rewarded with a classic links experience. It has been ranked in the top five courses in Wales and it is easy to see why.

The course runs alongside Tenby South Beach and, whilst this makes for spectacular views across the sound to Caldey Island, it also means the course is exposed to the elements - a strong gusting wind makes this a great test for golfers of all abilities.

The former Ryder Cup Captain Dai Rees was so impressed with the James Braid designed course that the 3rd hole, his favourite, is named after him. Tenby regularly hosts Championship events, including the 2008 Seniors Home Internationals and the 2010 Welsh Amateur Championship.

Located within walking distance of the famous old harbour town of Tenby, with its fine choice of pubs, restaurants, B and B's and hotels, Tenby Golf Club provides the perfect place for a golfing break.
