Sudbook Moor welcomes visitors - no need to phone in advance as apparently they have very few booked tee times. You play and play - arrive very early as I did and you can buy your green fee (take coins) from a ticket machine. The course itself is a lovely nine-holer with some additional greens to make it feel a little more like 18 holes. Everything in superb condition, from the driving range to the putting greens and the course itself. Though the course is short, there are plenty of hazards and a couple of wicked dog-legs to negotiate. For the high handicapper like myself there were more than enough challenges to keep me interested
