About the Golf Club

St Enodoc has one of the finest links golf courses in the South West of England with everything you would expect from a James Braid design; undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and all with the added bonus of some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the world.

With its hilly terrain no two holes are the same; it may not be long by today's standards but it is tight with punishing rough and so requires courage and accuracy to cope with some of the problems posed. Any visitor who plays to their handicap here can leave feeling that they have done really well.

Come and play the courses and we guarantee that you will want to come back again.

This was the first time I'd played St Enodoc, and I have to say after 36 holes on a breezy, but bright day, I walked off wishing we were playing there all week. The true test of greatness in a golf course I believe is the ability to walk off, remebering not just one or two nice holes, but an array of them, and this course meets that criteria fully. From the undulating 1st, the punishing long 2nd, the downhill dogleg tight 3rd, to the himalayas bunker on the 6th, and the hugely difficult par 4 10th all the way through to the long 18th, each has its memorable aspects. Only 1 or 2 slightly weaker holes, but they are more than made up for by the rest. Great course!
