About the Golf Club

Skelmorlie Golf Club is a long established 18 hole private golf course, situated on the gentle slopes overlooking the villages of Skelmorlie and Wemyss Bay on the West Coast of Scotland.

A short but tricky course where good positional play will do well.

Stunning views of the Firth of Clyde will add to the unforgettable experience of playing this par 65, sss 65, moorland course.

Past visitors will be pleased to know that after years of trying, as of March 2001 we no longer have any sheep on the course.

The first thing that strikes you are the views across the Firth of Clyde and south towards Arran - beautiful. Dont let the Par 65 fool you. Designed by James Braid, this little gem has some long Par 3's and Short Par 4's which will test most aspects of your game. Small greens with run off areas make accurate approaches a must.
