About the Golf Club

Silecroft is a nine hole/eighteen tee links Golf Course set on the West Coast of Cumbria.

Stand on the first tee and look across the Irish Sea, just a quick slice away, to the Isle of Man shimmering in the distance.
As you progress around the course you will see Barrow–in–Furness and Walney Island to the South, whilst to the North is the imposing Black Combe at the foot of which Silecroft Village is located.
On a clear, sunny and still day the course has enough challenges for all handicaps, but when the wind blows…

A good test of golf no par fives. So if you start dropping shots there's not many places to get them back. For a nine hole course there are some very good holes out there if you play to your handicap you have played well. The course is well presented and well worth the green fee. If the wind is blowing you will need to be on top of your game to play to your handicap.
