About the Golf Club
An easy-walking 18-hole course, Scarthingwell is set in tranquil rural surroundings and has become well established since its opening in 1990, providing a fair test for golfers of all abilities, as well as gaining a reputation for its friendly and informal atmosphere.
The Course is owned and managed by members of the Pick family who developed the site from jointly-owned land in the early 1990s and still live near by, having farmed in the area since 1925.
Each of the partners plays an active role in the day-to-day operation of the Golf Course and at least one partner is usually on-site at most times of the day.
