About the Golf Club
Here at Rishton Golf Club we are a very friendly bunch of people.
Looking after the course we have Kevin Sheridan, our HeadGreen Keeper, and Scott Gardner his young assistant. Scott has just joined us in June 2008 and we wish him all the very best with his new career. These two are assisted most of the week by Alan Walmsley who does a damned fine job.
Kevin keeps the course in splendid condition - always very neat and very tidy, the course I mean not Kevin.

The course offers a very fair test of golf. The first is a lovely hole, a dog leg right with the second shot over water to an elevated green. A real good start. The last needs a good drive to a fairly narrow landing area, then a lofted second over a tree filled ditch with a stream at the bottom of it. In between that stick in the memory there is one long par 3, into the wind when we played which none of us reached on the day, and the 8th was a good dogleg right hole from memory too
