About the Golf Club

The course is a par 70 of 6091 yards with a Standard Scratch Score of 70. It features a comprehensive irrigation system, drawing water from the Club's own well.

Selected bunkers have sumps and pumps to drain excess water. Par four and par five holes have 150 yard marker posts. Fairway sprinkler heads carry yardages to the centre of the green.

A red flag indicates the hole is on the front third of the green, a white flag has a hole in the middle third and a blue flag shows the hole is on the far third of the green.

It may help to remember the pattern of colours is the same as for the tees: blue is long, white is middle and red is shortest.

All tees have ball cleaners and all par three tees have club and ball cleaners.

The course is easy walking , well laid out( hardly any walking between greens & tees & the holes turn inside nicely towards the end) & has a good mixture of holes. There are six par 3's (although this is a lot ,it doesn't feel as if it's too many ,as it's nicely balanced) & four par 5's.Another plus was that there are only 2 par 4's over 400 yards so you're not constantly flogging long irons in
