As a member of Prudhoe Golf Club since 1986, I may be accused of bias. However, the facts are what matters. Prudhoe is a true home of Champions with a host of League, County and British Amateur champions and full international players. Some of those players have gone on to be successful on the European tour. But many who have seen the scorecard are puzzled why a course of under 6000 yards should generate so many quality men and women players over the years. The answer lies in both the consistent support given to juniors and the quality of the course itself
