About the Golf Club

The course is set in established parkland, which gives a feeling of maturity beyond its years. The 6824 yard par 72 course has been built to a high specification with exceptional USGA quality greens. Our practice facilities are excellent with full length practice range, practice bunker, chipping and putting greens.

Orchardleigh's parkland course offers 18 spectacular holes routed through mature trees with water coming into play on seven. It certainly is a challenging but rewarding golfing experience. Set amidst the stunning Somerset countryside it's a haven of peace and tranquillity.

The course looked beautiful and the greens and fairways were excellent. I played the best round of golf I have ever played that day and I think I was inspired by the surroundings and the nature and condition of the course. Some of the back 9 holes were a little unforgiving and I did lose a ball or two in what seemed like open ground but really...what a fantastic course. The food in the clubhouse afterwards was excellent. To top it all off the whole day was very very reasonably priced. If I lived nearer I would join!
