About the Golf Club

Oaksey Park golf and leisure is a mature parkland golf course, founded by John Cooper in 1989. Since then Oaksey Park had earned a reputation far and wide as a very entertaining course that will challenge all levels of players.

Oaksey Park now boasts a new clubhouse opened Easter 2004 with stunning views of the 96 acre course from the raised balcony on the second floor and a state of the art kitchen turning out fantastic meals at all times of the day under the watchful eye of our highly trained chefs.

Oaksey is an enjoyable 9 hole golf course with a friendly club house although a little small. The course is quite open although trees that have been planted over the last few years will make it a lot tighter in years to come. All holes present a challenge although the par 5 fifth is virtually impossible to get on in two as it is surrounded by water and is about 550 yards long. The par 4 sixth is a character dog leg that is hard to reach in two and caution has to be taken with out of bounds all the way down the right hand side. This is certainly a good course if you want a quick 9 holes and is an ideal starter membership club.
