As a member of the Keele University Golf Team, I feel very priveleged to play at such a venue as newcastle. The course is very well maintained, with greens running fast and true, even at this time of year, and with a fantastic variety of holes, from the tight, tree lined dogleg 7th hole, which is a demand for any caliber of player, to long sweeping holes such as the 8th and 18th, which are no mean feat to reach in 2. everything about the place exuded class, from the clubhouse setting, to the pro shop, but the course really did place me in a very good frame of mind for the upcoming season. Well done to staff and greenkeepers. dont change a thing.
