About the Golf Club

The course is an eighteen-hole, par 70 parkland course on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales in the middle of beautiful woodland countryside

It is situated just off the M4 motorway at junction 24 – just over a mile away from the Celtic Manor, the venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup.

The first hole grants you the opportunity of getting off to a flying start, especially if you are a big hitter - it is a short and very drivable par four.

The back nine is probably the better of the two halves though that doesn't make it any easier! But the best is saved till last with the short 18th, the signature hole.

A good testing course with some long par fours. Will play this better a second time I reckon having a little knowledge of the course. Greens were very good. Course tidy and looked after. Would be excellent value in the winter when presumably the price will go down. Give it a go.
