About the Golf Club

Commonly known as Cobble Hall, Leeds Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course situated on the north side of Leeds. Founded in 1896 it was the original home of Golf's oldest professional tournament - the Leeds Cup - holders of which range from Harry Vardon to Howard Clark. Its par of 69 is rarely beaten even in scratch competitions. Only four miles from the centre of the city the course has a distinctly rural feel.

Visitors are warmly welcomed.

We have a thriving Ladies and Junior Sections and we actively encourage new Members.

Cobble Hall is a pleasent golf course with a few undulations. It has a par of 69, It is quite a challenge off the back tees, especially if the wind blows. It is quite a picturesque course, with the seventh hole the most serene, It is a par 4 with an elevated tee and hitting your approach to a two tiered green, 1 bunker left and 1 right with bushes on the top right and a big slope to the top left and back of the green.Other feature holes are QUARRY a par 5 with a blind approach and TRIBULATION a par 3 with an elevated green. In a nutshell COBBLE HALL is well worth a visit and is a fare test of golf for everyone.
