About the Golf Club

Leatherhead Golf Club, which celebrated its centenary in 2003 is a fine example of a mature Surrey Parkland Golf Course.

Ancient oak trees line the fairways whilst the greens which are well guarded and subtly contoured are regarded as being amongst the best in Surrey. Leatherhead Golf Club has hosted PGA events and is a regular venue for Surrey County fixtures.

The course is peaceful, yet easily accessible, being 10 minutes from the A3 and 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the M25.

Played here on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Very pleasant surroundings, tree-lined course and very much a course of two halves. The front 9 of 3500 yards is long by any club standards where as the back 9 is only 2600. I found the holes an interesting mix of the long and short, left to right and right to left dog legs. The greens were in very good condition and running true. Overall, I would recommend golfers to play this course at least once.
