About the Golf Club

KP Golf is a stunning 18 hole, par 70 course running through KP Estates Parkland appealing to members, visitors and corporate days alike.

The 6218 yard course has tremendous views over the Yorkshire Wolds with incredible wildlife and has played host to major golf fixtures. The legendary par 5 forth hole measures 610 yards making it the countries most demanding par 5.

The layout of the couse is very good many of the par fours being dog legs. Memorable holes are the second where you have to put your ball in the right place otherwise the ball lands in the pond or if you are too right the green is blocked out by trees. The fourth is a par 5 measuring 600 yards off the yellow tees and follows a rise into the prevailng wind. But thanks to the generous fairway a player can give the ball a good whack without being penalised unfairly. The 17th is a tricky par three with wter on the right and a power pylon on the left one of my playing companions actually went through the posts and onto the green. This might be the best line in! The greens were a little lush as might be expected following the wet weather but they were fair and true. The course was well drained and is probably plyable throughout the year.
