About the Golf Club

Sitting on Threlkeld Common the course has scenic panoramic views of Blencathra - one of England's highest mountains - Skiddaw, Clough Head and other North Lakeland fells.

Keswick Golf Course itself is a challenging 18 hole parkland course rolling through the Lake District countryside. Measuring a little over 6000 yards from the championship tees, the course is not overly long; however, a look at the standard scratch of 72 against a par of 71 indicates a good test awaits when you come to play

Overall great views and backdrops to holes, particularly holes 9 and 10 where mature treelined fairways against the backdrop of the Lakes dales led to greens surrounded by mature woodland. Some challenging holes and jaw dropping climbs and drops make the course really interesting and sometimes intimidating making up for the absence of sand.
