About the Golf Club

Hurst Golf Club, founded in 1977, is situated between Reading and Twyford and is signposted from Hurst village.

Hurst Golf Course is a 9 hole parkland course that plays host to a lively and enthusiastic membership base which includes Men's, Ladies, Seniors and Juniors teams. It is set in the beautiful Berkshire countryside adjacent to Dinton Pastures waterways. The Club enjoys some shared facilities with the local sailing club and as you can imagine, water is a feature of the Hurst Golf Course.

The club strives to make sure the course is enjoyable for all levels of golfer. It is an enjoyable course and, though not overly long, has a few surprises up its sleeve. The sixth hole is probably the best. It is a dogleg right where you have the option of playing safe or cutting the corner and going for broke - great fun!
