About the Golf Club

The legendary golf course designer James Braid was commissioned to redesign and extend the course and in November 1923 Lord Cobham laid the first sod of the 18 hole course.

The golf course has seen significant tree planting in recent years and provides a good test of golf for all abilities.

Droitwich Golf and Country Club is a mature parkland course playing to nearly 6000 yards with a par of 70.

The facilities in the clubhouse have been recently refurbished following a devastating flood in 2007.

The Club achieved the nationally acclaimed Golf Mark in 2007.

This is a very attractive and at times challenging course but overall lacks the length to be a challenge to the low handicapper. A number of holes are drives and a flick with a wedge and on a couple you drive and then putt for an eagle (if you are accurate enough).
