About the Golf Club

Designed by Harry Colt and opened in 1920, Crews Hill Golf Club is challenging heathland/parkland course set in rural west Enfield.

Generally recognised as the best course in the area, Crews Hill has a heathland feel to the front nine, whereas the back nine has a tighter 'parkland' feel to it, with further challenge caused by a river.

I will give Crews Hill a big thumbs up. It is one of the better courses in the area and although typical of many Middlesex/Herts courses I found each hole had a subtlety of its own and for the most part positional play was paramount. The Par 3's were all excellent, typical Colt distance and accuracy holes, all probably playing a little longer than the card suggested with slopes and undulations
