The first course I ever played. Abiding memory is of one tee - to the south we saw the Severn bridge, to the west the Welsh mountains, to the north, the Malvern hills. Marvellous stuff. But could we see anything useful like the fairway - the tee shot disappears over the brow of a hill! And this was not the only blind tee shot so a good eye for your line of play is required. Cope here on a windy day and you could play almost anywhere in any weather conditions.
