Cathkin Braes Golf Club, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, G73 4SE, United Kingdom
About the Golf Club
The Course sits 600 feet above Glasgow, which results in some stunning views over Glasgow to the Campsie Hills and the Southern Scottish Highlands and out to the isle of Arran off the west coast of Scotland. Although it is only 5 miles from the centre of Glasgow it is in the middle of the countryside, and is widely regarded as one of the best inland courses in the West of Scotland.
The 6209 yards, Par 71, Course is a private one, owned by the Members, but welcomes visitors by prior arrangement. It is located in the centre of a triangle formed by Rutherglen, East Kilbride, and the village of Carmunnock, on the southeast of Glasgow.

Conditions underfoot very good in spite of wet miserable rotten weather. Lovely moorland course, greens in excellent conditions, views of Arran and countryside and wildlife from deer to rabbits.
