About the Golf Club

Situated to the east of the city of Glasgow and next to the zoo, this is a hilly woodland course that is much tougher than its first seems. For instance, there are tight fairways to contend with and almost every hole features out-of-bounds. To score well, therefore, you must be routinely straight off the tee and plan your approaches shots carefully. No hit and hope on this course. The par four fourth is a demanding hole with a long second shot to a green that's high up with out-of-bounds to the left and right. A great hole on a great nine-hole course.

This is in my opinion one of the toughest courses in the area; firstly the fairways are pretty tight with out of bounds on most holes. also it is very hilly at parts and deceives many golfers with the yardage to uphill pin locations and very small greens which play a lot quicker than you would imagine due mainly to downward slopes front to back, so you think you have played a nice chip and run and before you realise you are out the back and maybe out of bounds also. But like me if you enjoy a challenging round then try this beauty, it may break you but it will not disappoint you.
