About the Golf Club

Burntisland Golf Course is a parkland layout with a strong links like quality, although not directly adjacent to the sea.

Length is not the main feature of the course, so accurate shots are well rewarded. The fairways are reasonably generous and you can afford to be a little wayward from the tee.

Many holes will, however, invite a smash with the driver, but those who play safe golf to a certain extent usually fare best.

Played Burntisland as the last round of a 5 course trip in the area. Thought this was the best we played as the greens were fast and true, plenty of interesting holes, the views from the higher parts of the course were amazing. On top of this the Pro was friendly and helpful, the food and refreshments were great. Has to be said its a course that needs playing again as there are one or two blind holes, something I will definitely be doing next time I am up in Fife.
