About the Golf Club

Set in the glorious Dorset countryside, Broadstone is one of the finest examples of an unspoilt heathland golf course in the South of England, and deservedly sits in the Top 100.

Within 250 acres of rolling terrain, the fairways run freely and separately through superb natural heathland with its swathes of heather, pine, gorse and rhododendrons, and several holes offer magnificent views for miles around.

The 7th and13th holes are certainly candidates for any list of the finest holes in Britain.

A lovely, testing course. Probably the reason it has been selected for many national, regional and county tournaments.

Played Broadstone on Friday 6th June 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course is definitely one of, if not, the best in the area (I have played Parkstone, Ferndown and several other courses in the area). Careful thought is required on several holes and danger lurks on every hole if you stray too far off the fairway. Local knowledge is a distinct advantage particularly on the 7th. The greens were fast and true and the overall presentation of the course was a credit to the Greens staff and committee of the club. All of the staff and members I met were welcoming and helpful. Comfortable modern clubhouse with good food and prices were reasonable. This is a must play if you are in the area.
