About the Golf Club

The mature parkland course at Bramley is naturally so well drained that it provides truly all-year-round golf. The phenomenon of mud build up on boots is almost unheard of here even in very wet periods.

In the summer there is full fairway watering supplied through five reservoirs which are in play as water features.

The first priority of the Club is course maintenance and development and the result is a course which is always in the best possible condition.

On top of this the panoramic views turn even a poor round into an absolute pleasure.

The course is not long but it protects itself by constantly requiring you to think about what club to use and there are only a few holes where getting the driver out is needed (or sensible!). I would also like to praise the members and the pro shop staff who went out of their way to make us very welcome which is a pleasant change from some clubs who seem to tolerate societies
