About the Golf Club

Betws-y-Coed Golf Club is undoubtedly the Jewel of the Nines, shattering any illusion a golfer may have that nine hole golf is merely pitch and putt.

Although there are only nine holes, a second set of tees ensures 18 individual challenges to all standards of golfers, male and female, young and old. Tight fairways and well guarded greens provide a true test of skill for all visiting golfers to Betws-y-Coed.

The stunning backdrop of the Snowdonia Mountain Range combined with the meandering rivers which run alongside the course creating a real slice of golf heaven.

The course is open from 8:30am to sunset.

I played Betws today, not expecting much due to the recent AWFUL weather. I was totally wrong! The course was in beautiful condition, Fairways nicely striped and shaped which looked very impressive. The Greens were cut and pretty good for the early part of the golfing season. The bunkers had just been topped up with fresh sand which made them stand out, which is important for a course of this nature. The views from the course are nothing short of stunning, it rained for the early part of our round, but as soon as the clouds lifted they revealed amazing surroundings. It`s a course I thoughorly enjoyed. it`s a must play if your in the area
