The course is nice and open and very short which makes it Ideal for the beginner. The greens will not prepare you for Augusta though they are very playable in the summer but in winter only three-four greens ren true. I tend to just play to the green in winter and add two putts (they are quite flat). However the course is good for perfecting your tee shots and you wedge play will improve seeing as the course is so short. Practice Facilities include a run down driving net but which works all the same and a pratice green. A great Place to practise but not a place to measure skills
