About the Golf Club

Ballards Gore Golf Club, is an 18 hole Golf Club situated 2 miles from Rochford and is set in 110 acres of countryside. We are one of the longest courses in Essex, 6974 yards with a par of 73 and is set between the historic village of Canewdon and Stambridge near Rochford in South East Essex.

The course offers a truly impressionable and challenging game of golf. There is also a large practice area for pitching and driving as well as a putting green situated near the clubhouse.

A good testing course, set in countryside. The fairways were quite long when I played there and the large humps were not very nice. However, the course was well laid out with some tough holes, if I remember, there is one with a tee shot where you have to carry 100yds over a large lake to a very narrow fairway lined with trees, before approaching a big elevated green guarded by a ditch
