Mark's Kaddy Korner Biography
I started this caddy gig in 1988. Since then I've caddied for over seventy-five players on every tour, garnered twenty wins and put over 30,000 miles a year on quite a few cars. I've worked for Tom Watson at a Senior PGA and tried to Monday qualify a journeyman golfer on the Nationwide Tour. There have been nights in five star hotels on the Hawaiian coast, exciting tournament playoffs for wins, bitter bogies to miss the cut, and many Sunday evenings curled up in my van at a truck stop, asleep, travelling to the next tournament. Twenty-two years looping on every U.S PGA Tour has provided me a unique insight everyone will enjoy.
My main bags were Bob Murphy, Raymond Floyd, and Doug Tewell on the Champions Tour and I've seen a little bit of everything in the golf world. There are memories from the tournaments, dive bars, country clubs, plus out of the way places sprinkled across the continent.
This year I'm caddying for Bob Gilder on the Champions Tour and working my off weeks on the other tours. Every week creates a new golf experience you won't read about or see on TV, I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone.
Four years ago I started writing for a local newspaper, a few magazines, a couple of web sites, and I'm currently trying to put together a book about life on the PGA Tour.
