TaylorMade Burner SuperFast TP Driver

We all know the script when a new driver is launched - longer, straighter and more forgiving. "The players who have put Burner SuperFast TP in play have done so mostly because they're getting more ball speed and distance with it," says Keith Sbarbaro, TaylorMade's vice president of tour operations.

The club found its way into the tour bags of most of the TaylorMade tour players, including Retief Goosen, Rory Sabbatini, Mike Weir, Pat Perez, Jason Day, Fred Funk, Justin Rose and Vaughn Taylor.

YE Yang also used it to win the 2010 Volvo China Open on the European Tour, but the most notable story in the brief history of the club is when one PGA Tour player asked to use the club after being out-driven in a practice round by Vaughn Taylor, who is not normally known for his length off the tee.

Although this is a club primarily aimed at the low-handicapper, its design is eye-catching enough for everyone to wish they'd spent more time on the practice range and less time at the bar. It's finished entirely in black, including the sole and clubface, and features a tour-inspired crown graphic and the usual TP logo on the toe.

Under the bonnet, as it were, the Dual-Crown technology helps to promote a higher launch angle and less spin and the new Matrix HD6 (65 grams) shaft is in the S and X flexes, while the Matrix XCON 5 (54 grams) is the standard R-flex shaft.

The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast TP has an RRP of £299, but not only you can save £50 on the Imagine Golf Club shop, we also deliver free!
