There's a simplicity and elegance that Cleveland Golf is renowned for. Company founder Roger Cleveland established the company 1979 by designing replicas of classic golf clubs. That's not to say that Cleveland is averse to innovation and the new HB3 Hybrid Irons are clearly a million miles away from the world of the beautiful-looking blade with the sweet-spot the size of a petit pois.
The new HB3 irons, are Cleveland Golf’s third generation of HiBORE irons and claim to be lighter, faster and longer than that their predecessors. Anything that improves your striking consistency when you're trying to keep up with the lower-handicappers has to be a good thing. There is an untapped market out there and now that Majors-winning shots are struck with hybrid clubs with increasing regularity, Cleveland are in the front line. You owe it to yourself to demo the HB3 Hybrids, just to  see just how much difference they can make to your ball-striking.

Look out for the launch of the Cleveland HB3 irons in April 2010, priced around £499 (steel) and £599 (graphite). See more in the Imagine Golf Club gallery and at the Cleveland Golf site.
